This soap was created last summer, using a blend of citronella, cedar, tea tree oil, cypress, and eucalyptus essential oils to act a natural bug repellent. Several customers have used it while camping and even just rubbed the wet soap bar on exposed skin. My own mom used it and didn’t get bit while camping this past summer!
Please note: Most fragrances used are from essential oils, although some are from natural fragrance oils which have no preservatives or harsh chemicals. Essential oils do not always have a strong fragrance but they do maintain the aromatherapy properties of the original plant. Natural fragrance oils are used for when a stronger scent is desired and that has not transferred accurately when distilled into essential oils. Also, many of our soaps contain gentle exfoliants made from natural ingredients.
